
Young People in the Age of Hyper-Connectivity: Trends, Key Points and Perspectives
Smart phones, social networks and instant messaging applications have become vital spaces for young people and adolescents from an increasingly early age. There is a growing concern about the educational implications of this process.
Currently, the relationship between education and ICT, given this new context of hyper-connectivity, is overwhelming the approaches most closely related to learning through technology, to their didactic and pedagogical applications, and is entering fields more commonly associated with social psychology and developmental psychology. It is therefore necessary to reflect on education in a context where technology has become ubiquitous and permeates all the aspects of our lives, and especially those of young people.
