Teslapedia

Teslapedia is an app that complements the publication named 'Teslapedia. Life and Inventions by Nikola Tesla', which was published by Turner and is linked to the exhibition 'Nikola Tesla: The Future is Yours', on display at Espacio Fundación Telefónica (Madrid).

The serbo-american Nikola Tesla (Smiljan, 1856 - New York, 1943) is a fundamental figure in the history of progress. We can safely say that his discoveries, inventions, contributions and predictions shaped the development of the electrical civilisation in which we now live. Tesla conceived alternating current and radio, and also pioneered in visionary technologies for his time such as robotics, vertical take-off planes, remote-control weapons, low-consumption bulbs, alternative energy sources and wireless electricity transmission… However, after falling into disgrace at the beginning of the 20th century, he died and his memory fell into oblivion until the dawn of this 21st century.
