Paths of Spanish. A Gaze Towards the Horizon of a Common Language

The articles in this publication are an extract of different interventions related to the research work 'The Economic Value of Spanish. A Multinational Enterprise' promoted by Fundación Telefónica between 2007 and 2009, with sufficient scope to give very different reflections on the past, present and future of a common linguistic heritage.

The authors, outstanding characters from either side of the Atlantic, also share the fact of having participated in different acts related to the research project and their commitment to preserving and disseminating Spanish, which is why they are keen to proclaim the multiple values of our language.

All of their contributions, with differing amounts of data and indicators and more or less literary content, offer a great wealth of information that justifies their inclusion in a special edition, separate from the other publications stemming from the research project.
