The Oscar Niemeyer exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Fundación Cultural Hispano-Brasileña, commissioned by Lauro Cavalcanti with the Fundación Oscar Niemeyer collection, focuses on the numerous and significant productions by the brilliant Brazilian architect, the originality of his lines and the imagination behind his projects, such as the works comprised in Pampulha and Brasilia, and the works which made his name known abroad. Photos, films, models and original documents by Oscar Niemeyer revealed the mastery, grace and lightness of his designs, his personal and direct involvement in all of the stages of his projects, and his political stance against the world's injustices.
