Mobile Telephony and Financial Development in Latin America

In an international economic context in which significant changes are taking place in markets, mobile financial services can contribute to the strengthening of these systems by improving efficiency and increasing financial depth. This report analyses this idea in the Latin American context with the aim of contributing to the development of the region in the coming years.
