Industrial Internet
Industrial Internet refers to the process of digitalization of industrial activities and other economic trades due to the introduction of Internet of Things (IoT) in the production processes, although it also includes other technological trends such as Big Data or Intelligent Systems. This book introduces a global vision of Industrial Internet, showing, apart from its different uses on industrial production processes, the state of art of research on the technologies which support it and also the role of Public Administration.
At the same time, the report highlights the concept of smart services as a new paradigm which may have disruptive impacts on the development of new services and on the way the old ones are commercialized.
