Digital Identity: The New User in the Digital World

The amount of personal information being moved on-line is ever growing. Every day, millions of people use services such as social networks, forums, shopping sites etc. which leaves a trace of their activity, tastes and preferences, in short, their behaviour and nature. 

All this information expands the traditional concept of identity and takes it to a new dimension. Identity is no longer defined by physical features or by documents proving that the bearer has certain capabilities enabling him/her to perform certain activities, rather a broader concept in which digital life enriches real life and gives way to the Digital Identity.
